not quite as expected
we were disapointed with the hotel
not a proper 4star
no room service menu and no cafe ,only a smokey bar and very limited restaurant menu
the room needed mirrors ,only one in the bathroom
nothing for ladies to use and you had to be tall to reach the hair dryer, also no where to hang anything for a drip dry
safety features in the bathroom were lacking including
no thermostat for bath or shower despite the very hot water
the postion of the hotel is 5 star but they are not uptodate with what is expected for an international 4 star hotel
the breakfast was adequate for me as i like fresh fruits ,cheeses and toasts and breads etc
the Full American breakfast advertised is a joke
a small lift up contaner with luke warm bacon and sausage floating in oil
scambled eggs also sitting there sometimes, my husband tried twice then gave up
I had to go a try at the desk twice to get a sandwich sent up to our room when we arrived
It is hotel policy to cover the walls in old fashined imitation paintings but not provide a menu or meals informations in the rooms
We live in France and so with two languages and some words of Spanish managed to get some things we needed
I feel its the the old school
famous people once stayed here so we dont have to try very hard to please the ordinary traveler
I was honest enough to write the same things at the hotel

"Beautiful Hotel in the perfect city"
If you visit one city in Spain this is it. Even though it was hot (40 C) it is the most beautiful city in Spain. The hotel has been updated and the rooms are new and clean. Great location to all attractions and shopping. The concerige desk is top rate. They recommended a Flamenco show and 2 restaurants that were brilliant.

"Great Hotel"
We only stayed here one night before leaving Seville to come home. It was the fourth hotel we stayed at on our trip. Each hotel was very different. This hotel was elegant. It was similar to a hotel that I would stay in Chicago. It was close to the city center attractions. If you are only staying for a few days in Seville and want to be close to things, I would recommend this hotel. The taxi drivers take advantage of tourists. They go the long way around the city to up the price. Not much to do about it though.
