"If I'm ever back in Seville I would definitely stay again."
Hotel Boutique Casa Romana location is good, very close to El Corte Ingles for shopping and the Principe de Alameda area north of the hotel has lots of nice bars and restaurants. The room was quite large with very high ceilings, 2 sets of french doors and very comfortable beds and high quality linen. On the minus side the chest of drawers was in the bottom of the wardrobe, so there wasn't enough hanging space for coats or dresses. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath and separate shower and a heated mirror to prevent fogging. They also did a turn-down service on the last night, leaving a couple of chocolates on the pillows. The youngish staff were extremely friendly and accommodating(particularly Antonio, Stacey, Anders and another porter whose name I can't recall), they even let my husband check his emails on their computer every day. I also noticed how polite they were to each other, very decent people. And the little touches like the upgrades, the cava and turn-downs made us feel totally pampered. If I'm ever back in Seville I would definitely stay again.

"Hotel Boutique Casa Romana is a charming, intimate hotel"
Hotel Boutique Casa Romana is a charming, intimate hotel in an excellent location within walking distance to everything important. Also only a half-hour walk to the train station. We were very satisfied and would love to return sometime.

"Nice and unpretentious"
I stayed in this hotel for three nights with my girlfriend. It has an excellent location within walkable distance from the main attractions in Seville and even closer to main shopping malls. They have four categories of rooms. I had booked a superior class room. The door and window of our room gave to an internal atrium and this made it very peaceful and silent, although I have to say I never saw anyone sitting and talking loud down there. Should this have happened and I am sure, the adjacent rooms would not be so silent. I didn’t even manage to hear our neighbors. The room (302) was spacious and had even a small coffee table with two comfortable arm chairs next to the window. Wardrobe space was enough for our three nights stay and the twin beds that they put together to make a queen bed size, were comfortable. The bathroom had double sink but lacked space to put our personal belongings, unless one puts them around the bathtub and not close to the sink. Everything was extremely clean. Décor was light and pleasant. In our opinion the TV is useless, we never use it while traveling. This is why we found it cumbersome and a major visual nuisance in the décor of that room. There is no restaurant in this hotel. Breakfast is not included in the tariff of the rooms and it consists of a buffet. I found everything I need for my breakfast (but I do never eat fried eggs, bacon or sausages at this time of the day). The 8,50 euro per person that they charge is just fair considering the variety of items presented around the table. The free of charge wireless internet connection near the lobby did not work with our PDA. I do not know if it is our fault or theirs. I cannot comment on the small whirlpool situated on the roof, since it was closed for renovation. The location of the hotel is good but if you go by car to Seville, bear in mind that traffic around this area is difficult. Streets are narrow, some are only pedestrian and most of them are one way streets. I arrived to Seville after a five our drive from my hometown, Lisbon. I only managed to find the hotel because of our GPS, which wrongly informed us that Calle Trajano, where the hotel is located, is a pedestrian road. As a consequence we opted to park the car in a nearby parking, (that charged 17,50 euro a day and had no special arrangement with the hotel) and proceeded dragging our bags. I recommend this hotel, especially if you do not bring a car to Seville. If you do, try to use a compact one, parking spots are only appropriate for very tiny cars.
